DESIGNING A BRAND FOR A STAMP RALLY.

For Worcester's Speak Volumes! Festival & Artist Alley event in 2026, I organised and designed printed materials for the market's stamp rally.

A stamp rally allows customers to pick up a stamp card and collect stamps from participating sellers. If they collect all the required stamps, they can receive a prize.

Once the team decided on the theme of 'Nintendo', I got to work designing a stamp card, a poster to greet people at the door of the market, posters for the participating sellers stating they were part of the stamp rally, stickers to seal the prize packs, and social media slides to let people know the stamp rally was happening.

I started by sketching out concepts for the stamp card. I decided on using the aesthetic of the Nintendo DS system, using the game cartridges as the places each seller would place their stamp. I dug out my own DS to take reference photos.

On Procreate I drew out the poster, creating a title, clear instructions, and a fun aesthetic to draw people in.

I used Artist Alley Worcester's main colours, which are purple and green, and incorporated them into the design of the stamp rally material.

With the main design created, I was able to use the assets within it to create other material.

With the help of my team members, I worked on making assets for the paper goods, including a map and a depiction of the prizes participants would receive on completing the stamp rally.

Next I worked on the reverse side of the stamp card, where all the essential information about the stamp rally was to be found.

Once I received a mock-up of each participating artist's prize, I presented them together to add to the promotional material, including the back of the stamp card and the social media slides.

Working with the event manager, I used the layout map they had created for the market's table placements to create a map showing where to find the sellers participating in the stamp rally.

I made sure to make titles large and clear for readers, and kept the information concise to make participating in the rally as easy as possible.

To let people know before the event that the stamp rally would be running during the 3-day market, I created social media slides to promote it. I once again used the assets from the paper materials to keep everything cohesive, and copied most of the information from the paper materials to reduce any possible confusion.

I printed up all the paper materials (and my sticker as part of the prize pack) ready for the event. We set up a station at the entrance of the market with the poster, the stamp cards and an example of what was inside the prize packs.

We also created an Instagram reel during the market for further promotion, showing audiences the process of collecting the stamps on the stamp card.
